Books I read but didn't blog this week

The Prophet, by Kahlil Gibran.

I can see why this became a cult classic in the sixties. It was like drinking a glass of cool water.



The Anti-Death League, by Kingsley Amis

This goes into the Catch-22 category of desperately funny and sad at the same time.



Twelve Sharp by Janet Evanovich

New verse, same as the first.
