Given that I can't read five books a week any more, I've decided to refocus the blog on reading the classic works that I originally got into this for. Hence the new title. New year, new business, new blog name. I'm on a roll.
Was your header blue when I commented above? I thought it was brown but now I'm back, it is blue! I like the blue, but then, I'm a blue kind of person. I came back to link to you so I can write about your new name and mission, by the way, hope that is OK.
I'm reading the greatest works of literature in the history of the world. And a whole bunch of other crap. And writing about it here.
Here's the list, if you care to join me.
Yes, I am reading all of the books in all of those lists. At the current rate it will take me about 40 years.
If a review has 'Reading Journal Entry' in front of it, that means it is just something I am reading for fun, and it is not on the list.

I like your new blog title.
Thanks for the pointer about 'What Came Before' - I was debating whether to pick it up.
But given that you're probably still going to read some 'crap' - please provide some posts like the last one every once in a while, ok?
Wow, yes, looks very different. Good title. (beats a suggestion I read somewhere yesterday, "Mostly Useless" ;-)
Looking forward to the reviews. I'd like to re-read North and South, having just watched the DVD (a present from Christmas 2005).

blue or brown? I think it's been blue the whole time.... and yes, I'll probably throw out a grab-bag of non classics once a month or so.
OK, that's weird. It's switching back and forth.
